Casting Resins
Casting Resins are used to pour into molds to create duplicate items. We carry a clear casting resin that will give you a glass-like object as well as a white casting plastic that has the strength usually only found in more flexible resins. Both resins are very high quality and produce fantastic results.
Super Cast 80 Resin Super Cast 80 is a very hard Shore D urethane resin that has the strength common in more flexible materials. Create impact resistant white castings that are non-sensitive to moisture when cured. Bonds to itself. 1:1 mix by volume. Low viscosity. Working time is 3 minutes and it demolds in 8-20 minutes at 77 degrees F. Pour into a silicone, aluminum, epoxy, or polyurethane mold.
Use to manufacture statues, gears, toy soldiers, buttons, architectural pieces, and so much more.
Can be stained to simulate wood, can be used to simulate animal bone too.

Super Clear 17 This casting resin cures to a rigid shore 80D optically clear plastic. It gels in 10 minutes. Non-flammable, no VOC's, UV stable, low odor, non-yellowing, low viscosity. Great for label doming, clear statues, glass reproduction, etc. Cures in 24 hours at 72 degrees F. Mix 1:1 by weight. Use with silicone molds and works best in an addition cure mold, like our RPD260. Vacuum degassing is recommended after mixing to remove air bubbles for maximum clarity. Use transparent dyes to create plastic lenses.
Use to manufacture clear statues, colored lighting, filters, label doming, glass reproduction and much more.
